The Nature Conservation Agency, through the LatViaNature project, invites residents un foreign trevellers to participate in a public survey until October 31 to understand attitudes, knowledge, and awareness about biodiversity conservation and nature protection in Latvia, as well as key aspects of recreation and travel in nature. The survey can be completed online, and the results will be used to improve nature conservation policies, nature management, and nature education. The purpose of the survey is to determine foreign travellers’ understanding of nature conservation and their views on recreation and travel in nature. We greatly appreciate your contribution as the results of the survey will be taken into account for the future development of nature conservation policy in Latvia!
The results of this survey will be available on the project website https://latvianature.daba.gov.lv/en/. The survey is conducted by Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences within the framework of the LIFE integrated project “Optimising the Governance and Management of the Natura 2000 Protected Areas Network in Latvia” (LatViaNature).
The thorough completion of the questionnaire will take approximately 7 minutes. The survey is anonymous, and all data obtained will be used only in an aggregated form.
The privacy policy regarding the protection of the involved personal data is adhered to, based on Regulation (EU) No. 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016.
