The new departures on shuttle vessel Star are launched as the company’s brand-new vessel MyStar is nearing completion and will be launched on the route to operate in tandem with vessel Megastar in the second half of November.
The additional sailings with Star will offer those travellers looking for earlier departure times and more options, a timetable suitable for work travel, better connecting travel possibilities, excellent departure times from City centre to City centre, the usual shuttle comfort with a few services less, at a reduced cost.
The timetable for the new shuttle service with Star will be the following:
Monday to Friday:
6.30-9.00 Tallinn-Helsinki
11.30-14.00 Helsinki-Tallinn
14.45-17.15 Tallinn-Helsinki
18.15-20.45 Helsinki-Tallinn
Saturday:
6.30-9.00 Tallinn-Helsinki
11.30-14.00 Helsinki-Tallinn
Sunday:
14.45-17.15 Tallinn-Helsinki
18.15-20.45 Helsinki-Tallinn
„We are pleased to increase the number of regular departures between our capital cities of Helsinki and Tallinn, thus making it even easier and more convenient to travel between Estonia and Finland, particularly for those customers who need more options to suit their busy work schedules. It is even better that we can offer these new departures with a reduced ticket price to our customers at a time, when we all need to watch our spending at a time of sky-high inflation and rapidly rising cost of living. The Star service will continue to offer our customers the same level of comfort and quality with good dining and shopping opportunities on board, offering our customers even more choices for flexible, fast, high quality crossings across the Gulf of Finland,“ Paavo Nõgene, CEO of Tallink Grupp, said.
The first departure of the new service will take place on Sunday, 27 November 2022 at 14.45 from Tallinn. The service will operate between Tallinn Old City Harbour (Vanasadam) and Helsinki West Harbour (Länsiterminaali) ports.
Ticket prices for the Star departures will start from EUR 17 + fuel surcharge for foot passengers and from EUR 21 for car. Tickets for the Star departures can also be combined with tickets for other Tallink departures and services.
